Photo shoot Planning

For my magazine front cover we worked in groups of 3 and we had to go out around school and take different photos of ourselves and other people at school.
our different ideas were:

  • students standing in front of school holding a fake results paper jumping this shows the front of the school including the logo and also shows that the students were happy with there results and the were celebrating. This was a good idea for my front cover because it went with one of my headlines which was 'A-level results, why we're at the top'.
  • We also had an idea of taking pictures of year 7's to discuss how they were settling in, in 'big school', we wanted to have some year 7's stood in the middle of two year 11's to show how intimidating it could be for the younger students in a new environment and new school
  • Two students walking together smiling and interacting with each other to show that the in the school all the students got along and a long-shot of them could show the uniform and how well represented students from plantsbrook are at to give a little bit of background of the school.
  • A classroom with students and a teacher teaching a class, i wanted this because it would look good as a front cover because it would show that the school took education seriously that's why we have the best grades.it will also contrast with my main headline 'teachers speak out on unruly students' which will make readers wonder about how there would be unruly kids
